However, I plan on placing only the utensils needed in everyday use in the caddy and store the others in my kitchen drawer.The price may be seem really expensive.but when you take into account the price of buying each one of these items individually.including the caddy.you really do save.Do yourself a favor if you have no kitchenware (like myself) and buy this caddy w/utensils and save time and money. The tools are pretty big and easy to use (have soft grip handles). I just received this set yesterday and I absolutely love it. The utensils are all attractive/neat looking.My boyfriend and I are moving into a new place and we had absolutely nothing in kitchenware. I do agree with the other reviews that if you were to place all of the utensils in the single caddy, it could become pretty messy.
This is the first one i have ever owned that everything matched and of such quality.
I have thought about buying myself a set. I did warn her that other reviews claim all the pieces will never fit back in the holder and she seemed ok with that. I had no idea what to get my mother in law this year for Christmas, so I picked this up for her. She seemed quite impressed. I don't know if she has used it yet, but I can tell you it sure looks nice, high quality, and impressive.
The tools are flimsy and don't fit very nice in the holder. This was over priced and very poor quality. If you like quality keep looking.
They do what they are made to do well without requiring much effort. The can opener is also excellent we all are very happy with these tools My kids want sets of their own for when they move out. The kitchen tools in this set are all great. Update: I've had these for a year now and they are all still in excellent condition and work superbly.
the Pizza cutter and the plane grater are especially useful. We got these because we have arthritis and have trouble using some kitchen tools, These are easy to hold and use,good looking, and are quite well built. We are going to buy more stuff from Oxo. the peeler is the bet we have ever had I had given up peeling potatos but have no trouble now. These are well worth the money.
good grips indeed. It is a little hard to fit all the gadgets back in the bucket as neatly as they arrived.
